Surrey Squash has 135 junior players across the boys’ and girls’ squads, ranging from under-9’s right up to under-19’s.

Our incredible juniors are extremely successful – they are currently National County Champions in the boys’ under 11, under 13 and under 17 categories. Surrey is also represented by both boys and girls in every other age category of the Inter County finals.

At a local level, many teams compete in the Surrey junior leagues; open to players of all abilities, these leagues provide every junior in our region the opportunity to play competitive matches.

Why Squash?

Squash is a great upper and lower body workout, burning as much as 800 calories in a 40-minute session.

However, there are other benefits for young people who get involved with the game – it is an extremely sociable sport, with loads of events and training sessions where they will meet new friends.

Squash is also a relatively low-cost sport and, because it’s an indoor sport, there’s no standing on the sidelines of a football or rugby pitch in the depths of winter!

Squash Pathway

And, for those young players who have a real aptitude for squash, we have a pathway in place to ensure their talent is encouraged, nurtured and allowed to flourish.

Neil Desai Tournaments

Alongside our leagues, we run Neil Desai tournaments for beginner and club level juniors once a month.

Tournaments & Training

We run regular tournaments and training sessions, led by our highly qualified and dedicated team of coaches.
