Surrey Squash Region Map

Our Vision

We want to build a vibrant squash and squash 57 community in our region.

Through our development programme, we want to help clubs support and retain their existing members and to attract new members, thus increasing participation in both squash and squash 57. This means working closely with clubs, leisure centres, coaches and England Squash.

We have a well-established junior programme, helping to nurture and encourage new talent. This includes a grass roots squash initiative in association with Squash Squared, which gives youngsters in deprived areas – who wouldn’t ordinarily get a chance to play – access to squash.

We have a successful coaching programme, giving our players access to world class coaching throughout clubs and leisure centres in our region.

To achieve our aims, we focus on 5 main initiatives

  • Supporting and working with clubs, leisure centres and other facilities.

  • Supporting coaches and their coaching businesses.

  • Increasing junior participation and supporting the junior game.

  • Building greater awareness of both squash and squash 57.

  • Attracting and maintaining funding.

Find out more about these initiatives in Our Current Projects.
