The annual Surrey Racketball & Big Ball Closed Championships took place at The Oakwood, bringing together players from across the county for another brilliant celebration of racketball and big ball squash.

As one of the key events in the Surrey squash calendar, the Championships showcased the continued growth and popularity of both formats, with strong competition across all categories and a fantastic atmosphere throughout the weekend.

A huge thank you goes to all players, organisers, supporters and volunteers who helped make the event such a success.

A Grade

The A Grade featured high-quality racketball throughout the tournament, with Fraser McCann claiming the title after a series of impressive performances. Josh Jacobs finished runner-up.

In the B Grade, Phil Hall took home the championship title ahead of Rob Lewis.

Over 50s

The Over 50s category saw excellent competition across the draw, with Andrew Murphy securing the title while Rob Lewis added another strong performance to his weekend as runner-up.

In the Over 60s event, Chris Burton emerged victorious, with Ian Chicken finishing as runner-up.

The Big Ball event was the first-of-its-kind. Joe Frankland claimed the title after an excellent tournament run, with Luke Beedie finishing runner-up.
