Between 16th – 19th February, Surrey hosted the English Junior Championships 2023 at St Georges Hill, Purley Sports Club, New Malden and Surbiton. There were a number of Surrey juniors who competed, some of who did exceptionally well and finished in podium positions!
Thomas Earwicker from Surbiton won the MU9 final 3-0 and didn’t drop a game throughout the tournament. And Maya Goel became the GU11 English Champion, beating Rida Ali 3-2 in the final. Massive congratulations to them both.
